This class gives former students and experienced framers added insights into design. Less focused on hands-on project work than most of Tillers’ timber framing classes, this seminar digs into methods, considerations, and engineering limitations of timber framing. Models are used as a design tool. Joint designs and strength are focal points. Joints are broken under controlled observation and measurement.
