Much of Tillers' supporting income comes from the generosity of our friends. Donations fund our international programs, construction projects, maintenance of our museum collections, and operating expenses. Tillers is a US IRS 501(c)3 non-profit organization, therefore, contributions are tax deductible. (Tax ID# 38-2852975) Clicking the buttons below will direct you away from the Tillers website to PayPal, a secure site which enables you to make on-line payments via credit card or directly from your checking account.

 

Donations can also be mailed to Tillers with our on-line PDF membership form.

Annual Membership

Becoming a supporting member of Tillers International is easy! Annual membership is $40 and includes members of your household/immediate family. Click to purchase a membership via PayPal. Patron Membership

Becoming a patron member of Tillers International is a higher level of support! Patron membership is $200 and includes members of your household/immediate family. Lifetime Membership

A $500 donation purchases a lifetime membership in Tillers International. Click to purchase a lifetime membership via PayPal. Other Donations

You may also choose to make a general or project-specific donation in whatever amount you prefer. Click at right to make a donation via PayPal. When you click the "Donate" button below, enter the project or area you would like your donation to benefit in the "Purpose" field. Choose from such topics as international rural development, Tillers' facilities, the Tillers Museum or museum collections, or classes and educational programs. Even small amounts go a long ways towards improving the war-torn lives of our Ugandan farmer trainees. $25 purchases an improved ox yoke; $75, an untrained calf; $125, an ox-drawn plow; $150, an untrained ox; $300, an ox cart; $500, a pair of trained oxen; $750, the training of a local trainer; $900, a pair of trained oxen, a plow, and a cart.

 

 

PeaceHarvest

PeaceHarvest Project Donations

A collaboration with the Gulu Archdiocese and Professor Todd Whitmore of Notre Dame, in which Tillers works to establish and train a corps of local Ugandan trainers to magnify the dispersal of ox farming knowledge and skill. Click for more information on the project.

 

Abbey Barn Deconstruction

Abbey Draft Animal Barn Reconstruction Donations

Cook's Mill Creamery

Cook's Mill Creamery Construction Donations

Donate to the construction of the new Cook's Mill Creamery and goat dairy, a valuable domestic and international learning tool and research center. Click for more information on the project.

 

Matching Donation Programs

Many business have matching donations programs where the company will match employees' charitable donations. Ask your employer about matching donation programs! Companies which match donations to Tillers International include (but are not limited to!) Pfizer, Hewlett Packard, DTE Energy, and the Kellogg Foundation.

 

Sponsor a Tillers Museum Bay

Friends of Tillers with particular interest in the Tillers Museum may also choose to sponsor a museum bay, either in your own name or on behalf of someone else. Bay sponsorship includes having you or your beneficiary's name carved into the beam above the space you sponsor. Call for more information.
