
Mark Maier is the caretaker and construction coordinator for Tillers' Inwood Farm in Charlevoix, Michigan. For 20 years, Mark has specialized in carpentry, especially historical restoration and cabinetry.
For several seasons, Mark has made jam and preserves, mostly from wild fruits. He also makes sauerkraut, hard cider, and wine. An outdoorsman, Mark enjoys kayaking, cross-country skiing on Inwood's wintery fields, bicycling, hiking, and sailing.
Mark's work at Inwood has included working on the Inwood cottage, installing solar panels, developing a garden and orchard, and readying the property for livestock.
