Vertical Four-Ox Evener – made by Tillers.
If you do heavy work with more than one pair of oxen at a time, this device will substantially ease the burden for them. It is a simple vertical version of a horse evener that hangs from the yoke of the back pair of animals. It gives the animals considerably more range of movement while continuing to do their share of work. It has adjustment options to favor smaller pairs or animals in training. While we do not know of an historical version of this tool, it is only a modest innovation from the horse evener and has rapidly proved its worth in field tests. --rjr

Large Ox Halters – made by Miller Harness.
The heads of oxen grow beyond halters available at most local farm supply stores. Draft horse halters do not always fit right. The Miller Harness Shop nylon design makes increasing size easy with buckles on both sides so the strap behind the horns can be quickly replaced with another longer strap. --rjr
