Volunteer of the Year

Tillers would like to recognize Sharon Dykstra as Volunteer of the Year for the 2001 season. Sharon and her husband, Tim, with their sons, Alex and Ben, have been a delightful addition to the folks who frequent the farm and help to get work done. For the entire growing season, Sharon has been a regular sight in the garden. Every Friday morning she and her son Alex have been on hand for harvesting vegetables from the garden for the Saturday farmers market. Oftentimes she helps with sales at the market as well. The whole family got involved with caring for the animals over the winter and in midsummer they were out to help us get our hay in the barn. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and support that Sharon and her family bring for the work and the people of Tillers. Many thanks to our Volunteer(s) of the Year!
