Tillers International’s school and test farm are located in Scotts, MI, between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek.

There are several options for where to stay while taking classes at our school.

Neo-Rustic Private Rooms
We offer private bedrooms onsite with two to four beds per room for students enrolled in a class. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and access to our fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The rooms are heated in the winter and offer screened windows and fans to let in summer breezes. Rural Wi-Fi is available. Please bring your own toiletries. Dogs NOT allowed.

Student rooms are $95 per night. Call (269) 626-0223 or email [email protected] for availability and details.

Additionally, you’ll have access to the full kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, a coffee maker, and other kitchen basics.

On-Site Camping
Sleep under the stars at our nearly 200-acre farm for only $10 per night or $15 per night with power (tents or RVs). We don’t have hook-ups for water or sewage. Campers have access to the kitchen and restrooms in the house. Students only. Dogs NOT allowed.

Meals
Students are welcomed to use our kitchen to make your own meals or stop by area restaurants for breakfast or dinner. Please note that the lunch during class is the only meal that can be purchased with class.

Hotels and Airbnb:-we are off I94-exit 85
Kalamazoo and Battle Creek have many hotels and Airbnb offering amenities we don’t have such as A/C, TV, fast Wi-Fi, and more. There are several travel websites that can help you find the room just right for you.

DRAFT HORSE BASICS: NY
Students enrolled in October’s Draft Horse Basics in Marathon, New York, should make reservations with a local hotel, motel, or inn as quickly as possible due to the popularity of the area’s fall foliage and its boost to area tourism. The Three Bear Inn is the nearest place to the class, but there are other options just a few additional minutes away.
