Gary Colles, aka the “Cheese Smith” has been making cheese for 12 years and teaching cheesemaking for 7 years. With his knack for making the complex simple, Gary teaches making hard cheese from cow’s milk, fresh or store bought. This one day class will give an introduction to making wonderful, flavorful, hard cheeses to entice your palette and impress your friends. Students should bring a cheese press to class. Email Tillers for inexpensive plans to make one for yourself. Students will be take home a cheese, recipes and sources to continue your cheese-making adventure. Product: cheese.
