This three-hour introduction will cover foundational skills such as:

• Which tools work best for specific tasks 

• Flattening a board with a plane (practical)

• Edge jointing with a plane (practical) 

• Chisel / gauge for smoothing edges 

• Simple mortising 

• Simple paring / tenon making

•
