Registration is easy, so don't delay. Send us a deposit of 30%, or call and make a reservation. We will hold your reservation for 7 days while you send in a deposit. A full refund will be given if we are notified of a change in plans at least 7 days before the beginning of a class. To simplify the process, we now accept credit cards over the phone: 800/498-2700.

Discounts include: supporting members (10%), groups/families (10%), and for multiple registrations at one time (5%). Limited scholarships are available by application for those working in international development.

Most class enrollments are limited to a fairly small group of students. Please call as early as possible to assure a place.

While Tillers works to minimize cancellations for low enrollment, it reserves the option to cancel classes with less than the indicated minimum enrollment. Cancellations are unusual.

  Accommodations

We will be pleased to help you find lodging. Besides our own guest rooms, Tillers is just east of Kalamazoo, MI, where there are several fine motels and Bed and Breakfasts. Tillers' classes include lunch to give students an opportunity to meet instructors and staff on a social basis.

Lodging at Tillers

Besides a place to sleep, Tillers' guest accommodations offer an opportunity to share stories and develop friendships.

Our Guest House offers reasonable, on-site lodging in a B & B atmosphere. A bed in a shared room is $40/night, a private room with shared bath is $50/night, a private room with private bath is $65/night, and the deluxe Cherry Suite is $70/night.

Tillers has a limited number of camping spaces available at $7/night for self-contained mobile homes or tents. Electricity and showers are available for an additional $3.00. Other camp grounds such as the County of Kalamazoo's Coldbrook Park are nearby.

Transportation

Air, Train, and Bus Arrivals: Call ahead and arrange for Tillers to meet you at the Kalamazoo Airport or the Kalamazoo Amtrak/Bus Terminal. Please give us the flight number and carrier as well as the time of your arrival.
