New to oxen? Oxen are an inexpensive alternative to tractors and an excellent resource on small farms or in woodlots. In this class you will learn to drive oxen using voice commands. Tillers’ well-trained oxen and expert instructors build your skills and confidence beginning with the easiest driving teams and working on a variety of field tasks. The class concentrates on driving skills, but also introduces yoking, training, hitching, and alternatives to voice command techniques.
