Improvisational Blacksmithing - 312

250.00

As well as being Tillers’ primary blacksmithing instructor, John Sarge has extensive experience traveling overseas on international development projects working with rural artisans who rely on the forge and arc welding to fabricate tools that meet the demands of life on a small farm. Come explore creative ways to use existing skills to achieve local manufacturing capabilities. Projects include small tools and household utensils (candle holders, etc.). The class will also simulate shop conditions found overseas (ie. ground-level forge, engine block anvils, etc.)
